Printable car show scorecards — ModLinQ | ModLinQ

Printable scorecards

For the judge with a clipboard.

Some panels still score on paper. ModLinQ generates a printable scorecard packet — 4 cards per page, every entrant, every class, the criteria you defined for that class. Open in your browser, hit Print, save to PDF, take it to FedEx. No dompdf dependency, no separate license, no font fighting.

What's on the card

Everything the judge needs, nothing they don't.

Big bold entry number top-left. Year/make/model. Owner name. The class name. Each scoring criterion you defined for that class with a fillable score box. A notes area at the bottom. Designed at print scale — readable from across a folding table.

How printing works

Browser-native. Zero install.

1

Open in any browser

The scorecard view is just an HTML page styled for print. Chrome, Safari, Firefox — all render identically.

2

Hit Print

Use the browser's built-in Cmd-P / Ctrl-P. Pick "Save as PDF" or send to a real printer.

3

No dompdf, no Wkhtmltopdf

We considered server-side PDF generation. We chose browser print because it's faster, works on all platforms, and never breaks fonts.

Paper + digital can co-exist.

Some judges score on paper, others on the phone ballot. After the show, the host enters the paper scores into the digital ballot — it\'s the same form, just delayed by 30 minutes. The leaderboard math doesn't care which path the score took.

From the platform

Real builds. Real entrants.

These are members' cars on ModLinQ today — exactly the kind of profile context judges and spectators see at events using this feature.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I customize the scorecard layout?
The scoring criteria flex automatically based on what you defined per class. Custom logos and colors aren't yet exposed — let us know if you need them.
How many cards print per page?
4 cards per US Letter / A4. About 60-80 cards in a 15-page packet. Adjust in the print dialog if you want more density.
Do scorecards get the build profile?
Today they have name + vehicle. The full build profile is on the digital ballot. We thought about a QR code on the scorecard so judges can flip to the digital version — open question, would love feedback.
