The story

The dream achieved, as my interest in cars began to grow I started lusting after a particular Fahrenheit MKV GTI I used to see on the way to school every morning. Then as it came towards the end of 2017 I found myself in the position to purchase a new car. I wanted new so obviously the MKV was out of the question, and now that I think about it, it's not the best generation in my opinion. I started looking and new I wanted a hot hatch, so I looked into all usual options like the Fiesta and Focus ST and RS, Hyundai Veloster Turbo( Veloster N wasn't really on the radar or out yet), Civic Type R, and of course the GTI and R models of the Golf. The RS, Type R, and R were all a little more than what I wanted to spend, that combined with the absolutely gorgeous spec on what became my GTI convinced me to purchase it. It brought together fun and excitement and at the same time felt way more refined than the competitors.
